Accommodation within the retreat includes nine spacious, luxuriously furnished suites with most featuring stunning lake views. There is also two private lake cottage suites along with the owners residence - The Lake Villa and a Two Bedroom Lake Villa Apartment, both available on application.
Lake Rotorua is the biggest of 16 lakes in the Rotorua region. 15 are fishable lakes of varying size and depth: catch your own Rainbow Trout & have it cooked for you. The region is also steeped in cultural history & geothermal activity: explore the magnificent erupting geysers, hot springs and bubbling mud of Wai-o-Tapu or other local parks. Alternatively, if you have an interest in local fauna, you can visit an attraction that introduces you to the 19 breeds farmed here in NZ, or a local Kiwi house where you can see the national icon of New Zealand, the nocturnal Kiwi bird.
