Chef Kim Paterson

Head Chef Kim Paterson of Peppers on the Point has 20 years’ experience at 5-star hotels and resorts, Hatted Restaurants and luxury lodges which include Blanket Bay and other top Australian and New Zealand restaurants.  Born and bred in Rotorua he returned home in 2013 to take up the Head Chef role at Treetops Lodge and is now enjoying his role as Head Chef at Peppers on the Point. Kim was also named a finalist in the 2016 Ora King Salmon awards. Kim enjoys foraging for produce to craft and create delicious food, he enjoys working with the onsite gardeners, deciding on vegetable plantings for the season, but most of all loves to see his ideas put a smile on the faces of our guests.
